Bush's Approval Rating
Drops to Historical Low
by Lefty Paige
NEW YORK - According to a poll
recently released, President Bush's
Approval rating is just 2%, the low-
est of any U.S. President in history.
The poll was conducted by the in-
dependent research group, Citizens
Who Hate Bush. According to the
group, only 2% of respondents said they were "Absolutely thrilled
and wouldn't change a thing" while a whopping 98% said they
believed "There was at least one area where the President could do
better."
While Republicans contend the poll was biased, several Democrats
fired back claiming that accusation “preposterous.” They believe the
poll numbers are yet another indication of just how unhappy
Americans are with the President's leadership.
"These are almost the exact opposite poll numbers we saw when Bill
Clinton was President," said one Democratic senator from New
York who asked she not be named. "It just goes to show how
fortunate we were to have a Clinton in the White House."
