Al Gore Pens Deal for “Inconvenient” Sequel
by Lefty Paige

Al Gore has reportedly penned a
development deal to make a sequel to his
    critically acclaimed movie “An
    Inconvenient Truth.”

    When Heat and Politics Collide
In “An Inconvenient Truth,” Mr. Gore
explains in clear and sometimes amusing
    ways very complex scientific principles,
like how hurricane Katrina a category 3
storm – was much worse than category 5
    hurricanes like Andrew because global
    warming weakened New Orlean’s levees.

Mr. Gore also explains with graphs and computer graphics how global
warming was directly responsible for
Mayor Nagin’s inability to issue
an evacuation in time because the warm temperatures impeded his
ability to take action. It also caused
the press to issue false reports of
snipers firing on medevac helicopters (reports that led to helicopters
being grounded for 24 hours while people were waiting to be rescued)
because the warm temperatures made reporters too tired to actually
fact check.

Did the Internet Kill our Planet?
Fans have praised the movie as a clarion call for action. The film is
being called the greatest step forwarded for the environmental
movement since the Carter administration waged war on short lines at
the gas pump. Environmentalists around the world are extremely
excited about the news that there will be a follow-up.

However some critics said the film failed to answer key questions, like
why Gore spent his time and genius inventing the Internet instead of
developing alternative power or a substitute for the combustible engine.
They hope these questions will be answered in the sequel.

Gorebots or Silent Killer?
The actual details of the “Inconvenient” sequel are being kept secret
by the production company. According to a few insiders, the movie
will showcase the Gorebots, the army of 1,000 activists Gore will
train to give his presentation. However, Spolitics.com has learned
that while the film will deal with the development of the army of
Gorebots, the bulk of the movie will deal with Gore’s second
passion, his attempts to
ban “the invisible killer” dihydrogen
monoxide. Gore believes that with the country “warming up” to
global warming, they might also be ready to her about the dangers
posed by the “invisible killer.”

“Once you hear
the facts about dihydrogen monoxide,” says Gore,
“you’re going to be screaming at the top of your lungs for this
substance to be banned. The time to act is now, before it maims or
kills countless others.”
