Bin Laden’s Poll Numbers Drop to All Time Low
by Lefty Paige

    THE AFGHAN BORDER --
    According to the latest poll
conducted by the New York Times,
only 26% of terrorists say they feel
al Qaeda is heading in the right
direction and only 19% say they
    approve of Osama bin Laden’s
    leadership, his lowest poll rating
    ever.

The terrorist group is divided on
how to proceed with their global
jihad in the wake of recent set-
backs and it’s bin Laden’s first real threat from challengers who wish
to usurp his position at the top of the al Qaeda hierarchy.

Spolitics.com has learned that the terrorist organization is split into
three factions. Those who support bin Laden’s current strategy, those
who want him to become more aggressive like Zarqawi was, and those
who believe they should treat their global jihad as a law enforcement
matter and arrest Americans for their transgressions and try them in a
court of law.

“We have an opportunity here to show the world that we follow the
law unlike the criminal Bush,” said one terror strategist.
                                                        --continued below--
Still, other terrorists want to quit jihad all together. “Bin Laden has
lead us into a quagmire,” said one terrorist who would only speak
on condition on anonymity. The money we are spending on this war
would be better served providing health benefits and cheap
prescription drugs for all terrorists.” While this idea has gained some
traction with the older terrorists, the younger ones remained
committed to jihad.

The new recruits want to continue with Zarqawi’s strategy of
video-taped beheadings. Their opponents believe this approach has
turned world opinion against them. “I am confident,” said the terror
strategist, “that if we get the Americans in a Muslim court, we will
convict them and then able to behead them legally.”

However, the opponents of the law enforcement method point out
that al Qaeda isn’t exactly ripe with lawyers who could carry out
the legal phase of these operations.

The disagreements are serious enough that they could fracture the
terrorist organization into three different factions.

But there is one thing they all agree on. If they don’t do something
about Osama’s poll ratings and quick, it could seriously effect the
fundraising and recruitment efforts of jihad as a whole. To address
the situation, al Qaeda’s top brass is working on new talking points
that will attack America as “
The Culture of Corruption” and portray
the nation as a country of infidels.
