Obama: Does the President Get to Tell the Troops What to Watch on TV?

In response to being asked if he had a chance to mix with the troops, Senator Obama expressed some concern that they get to watch Fox News. Apparently that’s something he’d like to change if he becomes Commander-in-Chief.

I guess the President doesn’t just set the mission, he also decides the TV programming. Expect Obama to issue a 16-month timetable to have Fox News “redeployed” from all U.S. bases.

  1. our troops watch fox news because they choose to watch fox news. go through any airport terminal and the only thing showing on video screens is cnn which is so far left the horizontal control doesn’t work to correct it.
