Without our Navy, shipping companies would be a lot more vulnerable to pirates and this sort of thing would happen a lot more often with damaging results to the global economy.
In a dramatic and unprecedented display of prowess, suspected Somalian pirates operating far out in open waters have seized an oil tanker as long as an aircraft carrier, the U.S. military said Monday.
It could just be a coincidence, but this “unprecedented” act could also indicate that even Somalian pirates have decided to test the resolve of our new President. Thanks for the warning, Joe.
